Delboy Posted July 2, 2009 Report Posted July 2, 2009 This year I have been let down with a couple of English lofts that owe me ybs and have failed to come across with them. One very well known husband and wife partnership repeatedly failed to phone me back about ybs I had purchased at a charity sale. This went on since last year. I have donated 100s of ybs to sales and have never let anyone down.In fact, I also had a yb in the charity sale that I bought these ybs from. I am donating pigeons to English sales and buying from these sales as well and then im being let down. I think in future, I will stick to buying from my own country, SCOTLAND. >

Delboy Posted July 2, 2009 Author Report Posted July 2, 2009 NAME AND SHAME AND TELL THEM TO STICK THEM ** ***** *** The partnership sell birds and products. They make a pretty penny out of pigeons. Im sure ye can guess who im on about.
DJH Posted July 3, 2009 Report Posted July 3, 2009 Delboy, if this is the partnership that are involved with Jan Theelans, then I had a bad experience a few years back regarding birds I purchased at their Blackpool sale. I would give them a wide berth in the future. If I have guessed the wrong partnership, then sorry, and ignore this post.
Novice Posted July 3, 2009 Report Posted July 3, 2009 Oh my not a good advert for themselves or the sport. I do know that the mechanism for online auctions can lead to confusion between vendor and buyer if the person running the auction does not communicate effectively. However these problems should be willingly overcome.
pjc Posted July 3, 2009 Report Posted July 3, 2009 This also happens the other way around, I offered youngsters for sales at the end of last year and although most went one member did eventualy make 1 contact, knew they were ready and never made contact again.
