three tosses in the last two weeks and going this week again all back no problems and all flying a hour and a half every day so all going good so far looking forward to our first race

w/hood cocks, started with 12, 6 tosses upto 30m 1 had knock rest coming well.

Naturals 2nd toss today, took 42, still 20 to come.

7 training tosses up to 28 miles lost none , race on sat 66 miles got my missing bird this morning so ive not lost any at the moment could all change again at the weekend lol need to lose some to make room for the young birds lol

Started will 12 unraced yearlings.Had about 10 training tosses fromm 22 miles and dropped 1. Started to fly for nearly an hour round the house in the last couple of days. looking forward to saturday.

My yearlings had their first ever toss with the local trainer today only ever been trained on their own before and dropped 2 , still time for them to work back tomorrow hopefully , always the optimist LOL

 

One back with half his flights in one wing missing  :-/  still no sign of the other

one toss at 10 mile dropped one cock , wish weather would improve  :)

yesterday trained 12 yearlings from 15 mls they have all been further as youngbirds ive lost 1 to the percy seen it take him anyways i let them go at 10.15 had my first 2 an hour l8ter uh oh so i waited and waited nothing then at 16.35 a blue cock came in bits but havent seen a feather since im gutted to say the least i thought i would have had a few more today but nothing still 9 missing not 1 reported were can they have gone i expect a few not to come home but i thought a couple would have made it !! GUTTED !! never mind there,s always the younbirds to look forward to.  :) :)

some of mine had first toss yesterday 20 mile , easterly wind and warm , needless to say they did,nt go today , why risk them its early days yet , would sooner wait untill better weather and send  later in race programme , 140 mile in warm winds is preferable to 80 mile in cold east winds
