boxer Posted April 14, 2010 Report Posted April 14, 2010 yesterday trained 12 yearlings from 15 mls they have all been further as youngbirds ive lost 1 to the percy seen it take him anyways i let them go at 10.15 had my first 2 an hour l8ter uh oh so i waited and waited nothing then at 16.35 a blue cock came in bits but havent seen a feather since im gutted to say the least i thought i would have had a few more today but nothing still 9 missing not 1 reported were can they have gone i expect a few not to come home but i thought a couple would have made it !! GUTTED !! never mind there,s always the younbirds to look forward to. :)

Guest cloudview Posted April 14, 2010 Report Posted April 14, 2010 some of mine had first toss yesterday 20 mile , easterly wind and warm , needless to say they did,nt go today , why risk them its early days yet , would sooner wait untill better weather and send later in race programme , 140 mile in warm winds is preferable to 80 mile in cold east winds
