What colour is this

This is a new colur mutation or gene which gives a different appearance tot he red / blue /brown. It is newly discovered in the USA and I understand a similar gene has been found in Europe so it may find its way into the racing flocks soon.

 

It is called a drizzle, what do you think?

id say it was a grizzle,and i have seen this colouration many times when you pair a grizzle to a black pied.ive got some pieds with the recessive white bars aswell.

According to the owner it is a new gene and it is called a DRIZZLE..

 

Vallance lofts I have not got my funny coloured one yet when I do I will get a good picture of it so you can see it.

It's pied undergrizzle and it is fairly common.

Reminds me of a picture i saw  in the Racing Pigeon Gazette years  ago,it was titled "The dual winged pigeon"  if i remember correctly one wing bl ch pd & the other wing  red cheq

Saw these on the genetics for pigeons forum.They breed differently to undergrizzle.
