Guest chrisss Posted March 19, 2009 Report Posted March 19, 2009 I dont doubt that AD is an authority on the RJ but to be honest I think the Van Reets made the biggest impact sprint wise in this country as well as the Janssens and Busschaerts and many other familys including the VDB and Van Loons, the Roland Janssens have basically just landed here , although they have been in this country for 25 years with certain fanciers , have never made a big impact due to the numbers flown. alot of guys need to race them to gauge a maesuring stick to compare them to other top familys as i mentioned.... i will watch for the fanciers who have these and the RDD and wish them well... yet in belgium ad has stated that no one has heard of busscharts ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

just ask me Posted March 19, 2009 Report Posted March 19, 2009 question and do disrespect to any one i do read results inside out but with the amount of Roland jannsens in the uk should there really be not more wining with them i do see a few doing well with them but when u look through the bhw and read the results the not to many i find i realise that there are a few but then again some people will win no matter what u give them
Tony C Posted March 19, 2009 Report Posted March 19, 2009 Agree, there’s talking the talk and walking the walk
Guest TIMBARRA LOFTS Posted March 19, 2009 Report Posted March 19, 2009 question and do disrespect to any one i do read results inside out but with the amount of Roland jannsens in the uk should there really be not more wining with them i do see a few doing well with them but when u look through the bhw and read the results the not to many i find i realise that there are a few but then again some people will win no matter what u give them i noticed the same to be honest, not many grizzles winning races, and this is not a judgement against anyone or direct in anyway towards anyone with colour preference , black , white, grizzle or anything but not many odd colour pigeons win ? i could be wrong... but i also think it depends on quality within the family of birds and in my opinion the RDD grizzles are better than the RJ , so this grizzle win ratio should now go up, but you know what they say , can buy the pigeon but not the man, i think if 5 people have a family 1-2 should become club or federation champions if they are sensible.

leighton1984 Posted March 19, 2009 Report Posted March 19, 2009 only the very best lofts will win with any breed. as the rest will never get to the top.
Guest TIMBARRA LOFTS Posted March 19, 2009 Report Posted March 19, 2009 I spoke to a gentleman from this site with grizzles and he sells them too and they win..... more than their share. the gentleman knows who he is and i shall not drop names but what a really genuine guy he is...

thunderboult Posted March 19, 2009 Report Posted March 19, 2009 strains/family names don't mean a thing, it all down to the fancier's who race them, whatever strain/family a top fancier fly's they'll be the best birds in the area.
