cemetary Posted August 11, 2009 Report Posted August 11, 2009 THINK ALL BE PUTTING A SPOT OFF SUPPER GLUE ON THEM AND THEY WANT THEM THEY NEED TO CUT THEM OFF Watch they dont kill the bird for the ring, bad idea mate.
abbeypap Posted August 11, 2009 Report Posted August 11, 2009 Watch they dont kill the bird for the ring, bad idea mate. How shocking, are people so desperate for an ETS ring they would kill someone's pigeon for a ring worth at most £1.20??? some sad individuals in the world.

Well if they get the bird in, decide to take the ets ring off it, cant because it has super glue on it, what will they doo with it, think about it, am not saying they will JMO, As i have said before on the removal of ets rings, they should not be used by another unless they have written confirmation from the previous owner, and who ever does the rings, should ask for some for the written proof.
Roland Posted August 11, 2009 Report Posted August 11, 2009 THAT ME HAD 2 YB BACK NOW WITH ETS RING MISSING 1 FROM OUR 1st RACE AND ONE YEST FAE SAT NO TO HAPPY Get over it mucker. Go and buy two more. I'd say you should think your selves lucky to be able to have a E.T. System. Thousands haven't for one reason or another, not least because A. the can't afford it, and have to give you 20 on your first bird. And second the loft location makes it nigh impossble. But be peeved by all means. I would, well for 20 seconds tops.

ETS isn't any more expensive than manual clocks were before ets and having ets does not make your birds fly or trap faster, just takes out the human element. Location of loft shouldn't mean you can't have ets. There are fanciers in compounds who have clubbed together and bought generators for clocks and others use a battery.
Roland Posted August 11, 2009 Report Posted August 11, 2009 Not bothering to answer that Abby, let alone debate it. One swallow never made a summer yet, nor ever will. And again you are talking new clocks. Most still have second hand ones... like mine that cost £10, then 2 at £30 phew... and last one was £60 2 years. Yes had to go short for a while, but bought it on tick at that... Phew!
Roland Posted August 11, 2009 Report Posted August 11, 2009 And Abby that crap about not trapping faster is absolute codswallop and well you know it! Love to see any body manually clock 38 birds within a second! Even two! And as proved every week where top lofts side by side and 20 birds arrive and trap together ... the ET's ten beats the first one of the manual clocker. fact and to say otherwise is very sad.

Now up to 1.30 for Unikon rings could be back to T3s. Also think the manufacters should come up with away so they can,t be used without being wiped from the computer they have been put into.
