yes understand that phil, but im sure water gets spilt a bit etc, as impossible to fill right to the top with out spilling, And also you could argue that some birds would not drink it anway.

And also water types in different area could affect the effectivness :-)

ok, so filling the drinker up with medication and risking spilage is just a waste when they arn't going to drink it!

o.k you win  :) im no expert, As long as its near as damn it to what it says on the tin will do for me. i suppose some products/medications will need closer attention than others :-)

lol.

;D

Some supplements are expensive so why waste and give more than they are going to use!

I don't even fill the drinkers up with plain water as they won't use it and it would mean haveing to carry more cans up the loft.

Your birds won't drink a lot this weather unless they are feeding young .When I have to use any treatment in the water I only mix half a teaspoon to a litre water and use the other half tomorrow.

I use 2 litre or 3 litre milk containers, I always measure water for the birds, often first sign of a problem is if water consumption changes, mine only get what I think they will drink every day, obviously different when feeding yb but otherwise I find water use fairly constant.
