you can have different flagyl tablets, there are 200 mg and stronger ones .the 200 mls should be given half per pigeon and repeat the dosage on the third day. it would be easier to check that you have canker before treating.otherwise you treating them blind.

Does anyone know if the dosage would be the same for Fishzole (Metronidazole) tablets? Is Flagil metronidazole also? The pills I have are 250mg but it would be very close to the same dose. Over here in the states everyone wants to put the meds in the water and it don't work real good. I would rather be sure when I do it.

Yes Flagyl is Metronidazol

I've used half a 250mg tablet, 125mg day 1 miss a day then 125mg day 3 with no problems.

The Flagyl I use is made by Aventis if this helps

Most Chemists in Spain sell it over the counter, your talking of a few Euro's for a pack of 20. If I know anyone that’s going I just give them an empty box to show to the chemist to overcome the language barrier

Never used them  ;) ;) But !!!!!!!!!!, recently I was having teeth problems  :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( (yes!!!!!! I still have some) "PMSL"& I went to the doctors for help "Big time". I was given flagyl tablets to take away the pain etc, 400mg they were & they worked terrific.

PS, I have a few stored away now  ;D ;D, just in case etc.

Enjoy.

flagyl tablets taste disgusting (dizzy)

and Dublin lofts - they're only 2 euros in Spain for branded metronidazole - 20 tablets - or 1.75 euros if you get the generic

most human prescribed medications are commonly used in pigeons....especially flagyl ....and i think im right in saying the word tricomanad(spelling) is used in humans.
