bewted Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 is this any good,is it worth buying or is there better,,,,,just generaly asking,no particular reason,,,ted
peterpau Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 Hi Ted I dunno if it's anygood but we used it last year, and it was our best year.
Pompey Mick Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 Hi Ted, I used it regularly last year and had one of my best OB seasons for consistency, winning the Solent Fed OB averages.
THE FIFER Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 AVIFORM ULTIMATE BEEN USING IT FOR A FEW YEARS, NEVER HAD ANY ILLNESS WITH BIRDS AND THEY LOOK GREAT. GET IT EACH YEAR AT BLACKPOOL BYE ONE GET ONE FREE, MY SON AND I HAVE ONE EACH.
jimmy white Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 maybe its me, but do you not think their making aviform a bit weaker, it used to be like pouring out syrup, now it seems a lot thinner same as duramitex it used to stink the loft out like rotten eggs , but doesnt smell so strong now
THE FIFER Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 COULD BE JIMMY, IT,S ONE WAY OF COSTING U MORE WITHOUT PUTTING THE PRICE UP, JUST LIKE WATERING THE WHISKY.
Pompey Mick Posted May 1, 2006 Report Posted May 1, 2006 I think it must be a different formula now because the Aviform I used years ago was like treacle, very dark on a molassess base. I have only gone back to using it in the last couple of years.
mark Posted September 14, 2006 Report Posted September 14, 2006 hello, do people still use aviform utimate 7 in 1 or is it a bit dated now?
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted September 14, 2006 Report Posted September 14, 2006 USE IT ALL THE TIME ALL YEAR ROUND
THE FIFER Posted September 14, 2006 Report Posted September 14, 2006 USED IT FOR YEARS GET IT AT BLACKPOOL EACH YEAR,
jimmy white Posted September 14, 2006 Report Posted September 14, 2006 i used it years ago, but when i see it now looks a bit wattered down now, used to hardly get it to pour out,, its really molasses,,,,,treackle [spelt wrong ;D] only thing that would bother me now was ,,would the birds take their full quata of watter?
T_T Posted September 15, 2006 Report Posted September 15, 2006 Hi Jimmy, Don't know about you but lots of things seem to have changed in their colour, strength and look, ( me too ) LOL. I have though noticed that WHATEVER we give our birds from Electrolytes to Multivitimins, whenever these are added to the water the birds are never keen to drink em'. Talking about changes, even my beloved Creosote has lost it's smell, not too sure now if it has the same effect on loft insects/mites.
jimmy white Posted September 15, 2006 Report Posted September 15, 2006 ;D ;D ;D i agree with you tt, even the duromitex is not as strong as it used to be , when you did the loft with this, it stunk like rotten eggs for about a week , now its like fresh eggs ;D ;D ;D
nutverlal Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 I started to use the Aviform 7 in 1, since August 2006. I got 12 young pigeons that look healthy and no sign of the yb illness. Four already starting flying in & out of the pens. Even the Adults pigeons feathers looks clean & shining. No smell in the penns either. This is expensive but I use it every day except sunday. they get just clear water, as I feed them on Hanker. Thnaks
Guest shadow Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 I have tried it but found the birds were not keen on drinking it prefering to go to the pond in the garden, put fresh water in the drinkers and they never went back to the pond.
ROB Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 personally i use aviform ultimate but i dont think you can beat a bit of crushed up garlic in the water for 2 days
Beanz Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 T-T its noy creosote any more its a creosote substitute, the original has been banned as all the best things are, after all these years they have now said that it MAY cause cancer, pretty funny really when you think of all the c**p they put in our food these days and in the food they feed to animals which we eat after
Guest Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 i have garlic cloves crushed in the water 7 days a week.as they say theres no substitute for the real thing?. i think theres to many things in these liquid mixtures today.i wonder if the products in 7-1 will be weaker because they are mixed with each other.i have used it but didnt really notice a difference in my birds.
Guest Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 I used it for a while but didn't see any difference in my birds. What I did notice was a difference in me though. Its pretty expensive. And you've to use quite a lot of it ... 5ml per half litre. Found that I was reluctant to change the water (again) in a twice-per-day regime. When I finished what I had, I didn't renew it, went back to changing the water at least twice a day, and the birds performed better. Question: 7 in 1. Can anybody get 7 products from the label?
Roundo Posted October 23, 2006 Report Posted October 23, 2006 What are the members thoughts on the fab 4 pack from Aviform?? Ultimate Avimax E-Plus Mycoform Roundo.
Roland Posted October 23, 2006 Report Posted October 23, 2006 Roundo you seem to rate them ... Fab four eh! lol
