bluebar99 Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 Hi guys, Im tryng to understand more how to medicate on the food. How much on corn if it is normally dissolved in 2 liters? And if 2 liters is to treat 20 pigeons, then medicine on corn is to be given to 20 birds as well right? So if my team of 20 pigeons are eating 1.25 ounces a day then is it safe to say.... 1.25 x 20= 25 ounces of corn tylan dosed at 1/2 teaspoon per 2 liters of water= 25 ounces of corn one more thing..does it matter if I split this into 2 feedings or is it advised to feed at one time? Or doesnt matter? tHANKS... Jan

ribble Posted April 10, 2010 Report Posted April 10, 2010 What you would put in two liters add to one Kilogram of feed. I put a small amount of oil in a egg cup add the powder and mix until dissolved then add to feed and dry off with Probiotics.
REDCHEQHEN Posted April 10, 2010 Report Posted April 10, 2010 as ribble says (2 liters is for 40 pigeons - not 20)
pjc Posted April 10, 2010 Report Posted April 10, 2010 follow the instructions! If anything is suitable for water and food it will give the correct dosage for both!
