chubs Posted February 14, 2008 Report Posted February 14, 2008 Does anyone use an online company for grit , minerals etc? can anyone reccommend one please.
REDCHEQHEN Posted February 14, 2008 Report Posted February 14, 2008 I have purchased from Osmonds before http://www.osmonds.co.uk/home.php?cat=5 they don't sell grit - but they have some good products
Guest IB Posted February 15, 2008 Report Posted February 15, 2008 I think the UK biggest is Boddy & Ridewood, they also offer quite a wide selection. They can be a bit pricey, and delivery costs don't help, so ordering one small lot and re-ordering another a month or two later isn't the cheapest option when p&p is taken into account. http://www.everythingforpets.com/category/use.dept.1/
Guest shadow Posted February 15, 2008 Report Posted February 15, 2008 you would be better of finding a local company or animal food suppliers than paying postage as this will nearly double the price
Peckedhen Posted February 15, 2008 Report Posted February 15, 2008 Animal food suppliers will often order in pigeon food, grit, etc. for you, even if they don't usually stock it. It's a tad more expensive, but way cheaper than paying for postage.
Guest Hjaltland Posted February 15, 2008 Report Posted February 15, 2008 I tried the link below and was very happy with the response, delivery was quick. http://www.elimarpigeons.com/Shop/index.php I'm afraid my experience with Boddy and Ridewood is abyssmal as far as delivery times is concerned - up to six weeks in one instance. They do carry a wide selection of products however which is something in their favour.
