On the tic bean thread - somebody mentions using horse beans - but where we get our tic beans from ( he also sells horse beans ) says they're not suitable for pigeons as they are rather large (but I've never seen them)

 

Incidentally I'm paying £7.99 for 25kg tic beans

Yes, they will be ok! I know of a SNFC winner that fed them. Had never even heard of them before i visited him, and could not believe the size of them when he showed me them! Never seen them since!  :)

i use them on the ybs they get used to them if they are hungry they will eat any thing

we were wodering if it was ok to feed our birds horse beans :-/

 

Was asking the same question about 6 months ago if someone can find the thread,used them since no probs,also known as field beans.

I can't carry 60kg (shrug)

 

get a wheelbarrow,(evil)

the way you drive it would be quicker..(hehe)

i feed them regularly...smaller then they used to be but still around.
