sapper756 Posted April 8, 2010 Report Posted April 8, 2010 Normal morning feed, but take any left overs away at 12pm, give a pinch of conditioner b4 basketing, as this encourages birds to drink prior to going into the basket
stantheman Posted April 8, 2010 Report Posted April 8, 2010 depends on a number of factors such as distance of race, wind direction and liberation time all best stan ps my last feed is usually approx 24 hrs before expected lib time
Guest frank dooman Posted April 8, 2010 Report Posted April 8, 2010 depends on a number of factors such as distance of race, wind direction and liberation time all best stan ps my last feed is usually approx 24 hrs before expected lib time agree with stan if a bird is in good condition there will be no feeding in it the following morning so shouldnt have a bad trap then again a bird that is realy keen it wouldnt matter if it had feeding in it it would still get in right away JMO

Guest frank dooman Posted April 8, 2010 Report Posted April 8, 2010 why do yous feed protien on basket day??
greenlands Posted April 9, 2010 Report Posted April 9, 2010 Change of plan for this season,I use to use the Gerry Plus system but got my eye on V/L Subliem so going to try that .Will feed about ten-ish they can have what they want for a hour, then about five -ish a handfull of black rape.Ringing starts at seven. Good luck and good returns to all racing this weekend. Lindsay.
pigeonpete Posted April 9, 2010 Report Posted April 9, 2010 Good question this 1, Have noticed the guy who wins the club most week when putting his birds through, they are full of corn most weeks?? not packed, but a fair bit, where as mine are carrying nothing, after being fed 9 a.m friday morning? he feeds his fri night so he says?
