Guest llcoolj Posted November 17, 2009 Report Posted November 17, 2009 I bought 7 birds, 1st generation Janssen. Unfortunetly 5 are cocks and 2 Hens. Anyone out here selling Janssen Birds? Please do not recomend Louella, they would sell me 3rd or 4th Gen. Birds. Besides we did try to get some birds from Louella, guess what? following morning walked in the loft two birds legs up in the air. I only need 3 to pair with the remaining cocks. Preferablly 1st or 2nd Gen birds with Ped. Here are some of my Janssen Birds, purchased from J & A Mellor (Worth every Penny)

Hogni Posted November 17, 2009 Report Posted November 17, 2009 I had some very good birds from John and Alex and they made an excellent cross with my old family, so i would recommend that you try to get a good family to cross with them, maybe someone with experience with them can recommend where you could go.

ritchie1 Posted November 18, 2009 Report Posted November 18, 2009 jannssens and van loons i havent got van loons and jannssens walter you know what i have i have the very best distance doos walter i dont need to cross anything but my legs the doos i got will do 6oo to 700 miles no probs dont need to cross anything here but my fingers sometimes
walterbmasson Posted November 18, 2009 Report Posted November 18, 2009 gary just wondered about you asking about the cross when you said you wanted to clear out the sprint birds you had all the best for the nationals when they start seems to be a few more interested in the france races more the merrier i do wish you keep uncle georges name at the front as you know he still holds the record in the north section 1st 2nd 3rd sec 57th 62nd and 70 th open 570 mls which will take a lot of beating so you know the calibre of racing youve got to achieve he was a master and this was with a oxegen tank on his back so if you have got the doos let them do the talking cheers walter 8) 8) 8)
ritchie1 Posted November 18, 2009 Report Posted November 18, 2009 well walter if i can get one back from 600 miles this year i will be happy what nationals will i get to this year walter there 2 years old now my ritchie and white doos so which race pionts will i get to put them in to just wondered if they crossed these to pigeons as there both sprinters so wandered if anyone raced the cross never mind
walterbmasson Posted November 18, 2009 Report Posted November 18, 2009 gary its up to you but i would go falaise and ypres 1@2year olds but only if they are spot on and clean also airways clear
