HOMER49 Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 Hi Quite sure Robert Telfer died many years ago My 1992 LSC hand book say that the partnership in 1992 was Ruby Telfer and Son Now the son is Douglas and it was Douglas that brought in the Black Jets Quite sure they had an auction in England of the Jets Douglas is one of the V/P in Lanarkshire Fed at present Cheers Homer 49

ALF Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 Thinking back Robert picked the main pair out of the nest but the deal was that the fancier would race them and Robert would get them at the end of the season.The paiir done really well racing and the fancier was reluctant to let Robert have them but he stuck to his word and this pair turned out to be Madam and Monseur. I dont think your right on this wan Tam mate I dont think they were brought into the country as pigeons And all i'll say on it is i have it on very good authority ;)
