whats the lowest velocity before a race is considered closed ?

 

Not too sure about that 1 Ted as a lot of clubs have different rules to end races :-/ :-/

i would agree,but,would not be fair to the rest of them,,,,,maybe close the race that everyone agree on at night time on certain day.....maybe like tomorrow night or monday as a suggestion !!!

we are all men and to save any arguments i suggest we give our winnings to the pheobi fund .after all it as on ly a bit of fun and for my 20 pounds i enjoyed it looking on from the outside and never uttering a word unlike bewted who pushed and pushed if it was 30,000 he was flying for ,so if any of us have any decency in our life i suggest we give it to pheobi,if i have any prize money PHILIPS donate it to pheobi :) :)

bewted your a baw bag ;D ;D ;D ;D your were on here saying yesterday that it was philips one loft race ,also theres a big difference in donating 30,000 compared to 100 and at the end of the day its a worthy cause and dont make out that you were getting excited caused you to torment philips all day ,the man must have the patience of a saint for if it were me a would have told you to eff off ,chances being philips wont do this again .END OFF,well done to the winner it was fun watching this race and of course a big thank you to PHILIPS who organised it

Yes I agree with Ted, it did, does add a little excite for anoher channel. Perhaps the P.c. reeing about was an unfortunate down side, but then again id didn't subtract from the overall project. So am happy with my lot.

Ted dont let the stupid comments of some bring you down and stop you entering anything in the future. As far as I see it you are the winner and thats all there is to it. As for what you do with your winnings is of no concern to anyone but yourself. My advice would be just enjoy the glory and spend a little on polish to keep the trophy shining! Well done mate!!

As for  'Donation' no pressure, let alone even discussion or POINNT should be entered into... that is a personal matter and best left to the person(s) who receive any winnings.

In fact it's a cheap shot that saddens the 'Spirit which is intended'.

Soon no one will bother ever putting a few bob up if after winning a little they are pressured to 'Give it AWAY'!

Yes it is a blumming cheek, and has no bearing.

And forget the 'Good Cause' scenario, there are thousands upon thousands worthwhile and good causes!

Each and everyone must be allowed to choose when and where and what cause(s) they wish to support!
