I have been asked to post this notice.

 

Someone released approx 60 pigeons from Thornliebank near B & Q around 6pm. There is a pigeon loft close to that area and a lot of the pigeons are hanging around.

 

Please don't lib from that area. If they go in the loft they will be reported and you'll have to send for them or go up and collect them.

Apparently they were let go from a field directly behind his loft. Obviously, his loft had not been noticed and luckily his pigeons were not out, but it happened last year when his YB's were out for just their fourth time and they all went with the trainers. Thornliebank is near Glasgow.

when i saw the thread title , i thought it was about "footwear for pigeons" . the ones i had home Sunday appeared to have walked home , hence my interest

Mine use walking shoes. Trainers would make them go too fast.
