Printer For Unikon E T S System (Parallel Port)

Our club printer is a Brother HL 5240 L and is on the blink, I hadn't realised that (a) we have had it from new and ( it is 14 years old - of those on UNIKON ETS - what make and model number is your printer? Do you use a parallel port cable or an adapter? I need to get another one very quickly! But they are few and far between, the prices of refurbished ones have shot up this year - any information appreciated

That's very kind of you - our current one works (badly) the paper keeps jamming - and the Federation has one we can borrow as we haven't any centre marking for a couple of weeks

Thank you for your help everybody - I've purchased one with a 6 month warranty

The other half decided he wanted the same model so we didn't have to download more drivers - we'll see, I'm not sure it works like that......
