I think it is computer updates. Benzing have moved their server, so if you don't have the update on your computer, the old programme will be talking to the old server. Any equipment updates are on the new server.

How does the the clock receive the download ?

There is no Univers connection to a laptop/pc. Is the download done via the club system, if so how ?

i would think that you update your computer and then when you do anything on club system to clocks it will automaticaly update the clock ?

whatever you do try it out long before you need to do anything on your clocks and racing

If benzing is similar to other clocks ,when you power up your clock it displays the version of the soft ware it is operating on eg V.3.1 the union you are members of should put out the version number you need to race .

After your club master has been updated by uploading update to pc then connecting master to pc you can usually connect clocks to master to update them.

I know it is a computer update because that is what Jim Savage told me. He has tutorials posted somewhere. Youtube, I think.
