BLACK W F Posted September 20, 2020 Report Posted September 20, 2020 guys i have just read Ryan Hayes article in the BHW its a sad day that another of the great distance men is calling it a day through ill health while Ryan has wrote a fine article it should be noted that Walter was great friends with George Ritchie and Bob Whyte and his old foundation hen was gdaughter of the legendary Storm Queen Walter not only put up some outstanding performances over the years with a family of birds that where tested every year from the distance not paper pigeons just hard as nails birds his family of birds have won for many people who have been lucky enough to get them this is a small back garden loft watch out folks as the birds will either go in the book or be auctioned off a great chance for fanciers to improve their stock buyers gains but sad loss to the north fed i,m sure all the members will wish Walter all the best for his retirement
