Since having to pack up, I really miss the birds. Can't go to clubs, nor start to take up offers to watch others clock in … Can't now any way at the moment. But was saying before the lock down.

Before packing up, many times I thought of having, as I had as a school boy Tipplers, Tumblers and even try the Rollers, as a substitute. Yes … But then they still would need the care an attention I waned on the racers. So I didn't. New neighbour 3 doors up has pets and birds, including some white - not fan tails, but as such. The like many racers C/ Feral also visit my garden etc.

Good to see, but tugs the heart strings a mite.

Said to the good lady today. 'I could buy 2or 3 pairs of whites and feed them in garden till they went and joined the others. that way I would always have some... and looking after themselves … I know, silly and selfish lol. then would ease the wanting any, just make me most likely want to ...

Keep a dovecote in your garden but put net over it to train them stay in garden then after a while they be free to come and go but still have to feed and water them. I like to have White racers as love the colours

That white cock in the pic mated up onto a red I just left them.. I've had a single red/white grizzle... The 2nd round was a jet black w/flight, the nest mate was black grizzle and last round, was a solid red with white spec on the head and nest mate black grizzle.. Hen must carry black.

Yep, like the Neighbour 3 doors up. But again I won't … would only lead to wanting more, then same of problem of not able. Beside the Racing would be highly of want.

So will have to content myself to watch theirs's and the feral. Have some god looking ones too.

Is, as mentioned before, a chequer Pied cock. Absolute great to see and always id such fine condition. Often wonder if it was one of mine tat flew off the top. Never close enough to see if a ring or not. There again, over the last few years, very few went off the Loft top.
