We timed in today at 11.18 from Folkestone (as yet we don't know if it is any good) doing slightly over a mile a minute

 

at 11.37 we received a phone call from a stranger who had picked up one of our birds off the floor - exhausted, by the side of Ripon canal

 

Ten minutes or so later this couple rang and asked our post code and said they were coming over - to go to the beach as they fancied a run out-

at 12.45 this pigeon was delivered to my door by these non fanciers

 

A thank you seems so inadequate
