grdkeith Posted January 5, 2019 Report Posted January 5, 2019 Used a drone to scare peregrine from skies above their loft?During summer they sit on pylon within site of my loft and was thinking a good sized drone might be the answer before I let birds out or even if attacked during exercise.Any thoughts?

grdkeith Posted January 5, 2019 Author Report Posted January 5, 2019 Loads of videos of various birds of prey attacking drones on YouTube George. Are they not trained to do that?

The ones round here clear off when I bang my hands against my van if they are chasing old birds but when after youngsters they know they have a better chance of a kill and just keep at them
Ryan Hay Posted January 5, 2019 Report Posted January 5, 2019 When I stayed down pitsligo sparrow hawks were a problem for me. Then one day a eagle owl appeared. It was obviously someons pet so I kept it in a makeshift aviery by my pigeons and hardly seen a hawk for the 5 months a had it.
