wrong ypres is ok if you live in the south and west but not in the east and worse in the north as were calculated as flying the full race over water which they don't do they cross over and come up the coast 53 miles from Edinburgh 23 miles from Dundee up to aberdeen

fair comment put it another way how many members have birds that can compete at 500,600,700 plus miles disregarding ypres 482 miles my shortest channel race is from clermont 571 miles

get rid of the inland races and you will lose 1/2 of the membership as that's all they send to lots of them will join the snrpc to compete at national raceing from shorter races if this happens the snfc will become the wee national in Scotland look at the birdage that will tell you what races the members wish to compete in

the WDA liberated at bilericky at 11.00 20 miles north of Maidstone will be interesting to see how there race goes

we went ourselves john down as far as Maidstone then we altered our program to fly with the snfc and this year with the north of Scotland fed

cant remember Robbie think it was about the same as falaise 580 miles ypres im 482 miles

stuart there are lads in whitehills and portsoy who are further up (493 to whitehills ) then there the guys in wick who sometimes send they must be well over 550 miles channel raceing for them is not really an option with the likes of clermont being around 700 im I think 456 in aberdeen

chris your flying 260 from newbury the north section are flying 400 to 450 as said many times before we fly further from the inland nationals than some fly out of nationals from france and Belgium you cant help where you fly from cucumstances dictate that but cater for all and keep the inland races going why not liberate on a Friday where possible and take clashing out the equasion I recon from newbury the birds are not corridor fling they are split up and spread wide over the country in small batches so hitting traffic all the way up country that's why losses are bad at this race and only slightly better at the next national race where they are libbed on the east and hug the coast a lot of the way up jmo dave
