just have to feed light on the morning of basketing imo then again some clubs have to basket in the morning so your damned if you do and damned if you don't remember birds held over at a race point are fed in the crates which most feds usually get at least once a year separate crates is the answer if it was allowed

seperate crates alan some clubs already do this birds fed a light feed early on the morning of basketing will still spew up in the crates and if you don't feed them on basketing day then they could be 48 hours without a feed

lots of points here owen 1st these fanciers are the lifes blood of the sport they far outnumber the out an out winners they are there to enjoy their pigeons and winning a card is a bonus without them the sport is dead with that in mind they are not interested in using ets ,why would they they are there for the fun of it which a lot of us have seemed to forgotten about in the quest to win at all costs so in the end who are the so called fools as to looking after their birds properly look at it this way- if the birds hit trouble the heavily fed birds have the back up energy to come home as the ones sent empty will struggle ok they wont win short races, if healthy and fit should come home though
