Cut the feed back, they will learn to be first in if they want to eat, the other birds eat to much if you have it all in. so only put 1/2 the daily amount in to start,if they all go in add the rest.

I only feed once a day when loft flying and it is after they fly. When I start road work they get 2/3 of the daily feed on return and the last 1/3 with the late afternoon loft fly

I like the one we have. The 2x4s run horizontal instead of vertical and the birds have to turn there vent to the outside to go and it drops past all the other birds who are sitting sideways on the perch. As you see it is also easy to clean with the dividers being cut off 4 inches up from the perch for just one sweep of the scrape.

I like the long needles from pine. They also keeps the bugs away and the cost is much better. ya just need a rake and plastic bag.

We have had some go bad and even had some that came bad when new. I would sugest you put them all in a clock and try them a couple times in a training mode. and yes you could always fly to the band # and have it assigned to another snap-on chip like we do now. Of the 300 bands I have bought maybe 4 were bad or went bad.
