The Benzing Express which is the one that costs the least, the Price here is $535 for the clock and pads for the loft and Chip rings are $2 each if you by 100 or more $1.20 each if less than 100. I like the Benzing clocks over others I'v seen.

White long Needle Pine are the best i think. They do help keeps the bugs out also

If you do get them,you will never want to be without one. I still watch for every bird on race day,but no running grabbing and scaring the birds . Shipping and reporting time ismuch faster and for training and Inventory its the best.

Great Idea Linda, the birds would get good homes and they arn't really culls, they would have raced over 1700 miles and made it back. In the Past I have kept the remaining birds. Some are in my breeding program , Some were raced out as OBs and after that they were stocked or culled if not wanted by local flyers

I host a One Loft race. All Entry is payed back,I even send out updates of dailily training tosses with the top ten birds clocked that day. mine get a little extra corn for winter heat go from 1 oz to about 1 1/2 oz the extra 1/2 is corn

I PMV all Ybs and POX them. In the Fall about 30 days before breeding setup I PMV everything including the YBs and droppers

I think they are good for a couple reasons. !st one is I host a one loft race and that is good for me . I do pay out all entry fees and have almost daily updates how the birds are doing and a good Inventory so the Breeder knows if his or hers bird are still in the race. It is a True test on the birds against others that are trained and fed the same. It levels the playing field. Big Release

The moult here was finished over a month ago, but as it was finishing ,I started my winter pre breeding Med program. PMV.Worming, respatory and Canker and cocic . Then start them on oaster shell grit for a better egg shell when mating starts. Next week at this time I will have them together as the lights have been on for 13 hours and will go to 16 starting tomorrow. They are on a pellet grain mix now also and plenty of fresh water.

science that the bird can break down protein to make carbohydrates, . . . To much protein is bad ,it will give them blue breast and they will not be in form for race day. Carbo loading the last couple days is better in mymind than over dosing them on protein
