I just bought a new one also, I had a Cannon Power shot 60 That I used at work and liked how it worked . They upgraded now to the A510 or A520 Power shot which is at a good price for what you get $187 US dollars at Staples. I can take up to 80 photoes on the card that comes with the camera it has a 4x power zoom lens and 4 MEGA pixels

We have dropping pans under the perches and they have sand in them. We used the Clean white Play Sand that is to be used in childrens sand boxes. It isn't dusty.

If you use a Granite type git it doesn't draw dampness. The grit with salt added is the one that will draw dampness fast and the salt if taken in excess will cause the loose droppings I have found
