    Guys, We know that wind farms aren't the problems we are having with the losses of the birds, lets not turn this into another topic that's going to get removed, ave already said my piece on the forum what is our biggest problem. And before you say, I haven't had the collar pulled.

    There's not a true figure that's for sure, IMO, all made up for the public, statistics are made up for only one reason. We have wind turbines around us, not a lot, never heard of any birds hitting them, maybe another scam, you will never know will you to be honest.

    IMO a don't think there is much killed by them even though the countryside is full of them, you know the doos aren't that daft to run into them miles away, even to get blowed into them. whos trying to kid who here.

    A worked for a company who made the blades in Fife. I was sent to Amsterdam/Germany on many occasions on short break, :emoticon-0167-beer: because we had guys who worked over there installing them. They do make a what I would call it a whishing noise when in motion, they aren't high even when the birds are low. If this does anything to them when flying low, I couldn't tell you, but what I would say, it may be a landmark for the doos at home, and this is only my opinion.
