  11. Maverick, if you have made up your mind then all the best, personally i would stay on and try to find out who made the phone call you recieved, but it's your decision at the end of the day, what is not needed here is every tom, dick and harry jumping on the thread casting up old arguements that the majority of them know nothing about, on a forum like this news travels fast so somebody ,possibly two or three people will know who called you, why does,nt everyone concentrate on that fact.

  24. I was actually visiting jimmy when the photographer was at his house for the picture session, got to give jim a pat on the back for giving pigeonbasics and it's members such a good shout, not sure if the photographer had had anything to do with pigeons before but he certainly seemed very interested and was asking and getting a lot of information from jimmy, even said he is going to look in on the site. he seemed most impressed when jimmy was explaining all the charity donations that members give on the site for people less fortunate whether they be fanciers or not, and seemed genuinely surprised when jim was telling him how fanciers from all over the country often offer free birds to youngsters or whoever who are starting up in the sport. I'm sure the story will come across very positively for the sport and who knows we may get a lot of new members joining ppigeonbasics.com to have a look for themselves and see if they want to get involved in the sport. Well done Jimmy.
  25. I'm sure Mick's point is let's try to cut costs as much as possible, why have all these drivers and trucks/vans going to the same racepoints when it is completely unneccessary, lets think logically about this instead of bearing old grudges and therefore having fanciers putting out good money when it does'nt have to happen. A bit common sense is needed here that's all.
