Just like me it got you thinking I have studied the complete sale and rules one thing for sure it is designed to get the Maximum for each bird My thoughts are below in red There is only one phone number and an e-mail buyers cannot post bids on the site I get bids via the site and have to try and keep updating I take phone bids but it is hard to keep up with both, I am sure there is more than one person controlling their operation You have to register your complete details I work on your site name no proper Name, address or phone number No visible complains procedure but they have final decision on any complaint I get complaints on site and via pm all have to be looked into and a decision made fortunately our bids are timed which helps In certain circumstances there are preferential bidders I do not have this all bids on site 15min rule applies but with the prices they are receiving that will not run for too long and only 2 birds 15min rule on 15 / 20 birds can go on for a very long time(over 2hrs) Whilst this is good for M&D as they are making money the people on our site are unpaid There is a vast difference in the birds being sold with a minimum bid of £25 in some cases £100 A lot of sales on PB are for charity and everyone wants the bird as cheaply as possible only certain people can bid in the Myrtle lofts league They are in control of payments and dispatch something I do not have control over, although it is posted on the final sale board, how many check this before dispatching the donation, bidders can send for the birds without paying for them some will not give there Name & Address but expect me to know who the seller is. I think a lot of our bidders tend to wait till the last minute which causes more hiccups than anything very few bid on the high side and wait. Last minute bidding can lead to the prospective buyers losing out If you look back to H4H sale there were 120 donations and almost 500 bids Any of the above is not criticism just trying to high-lite the difference in types of sales procedures What shocks me is the people who donate then see their donation is not making enough money in there eyes then withdraw it or change the rules after it is sold, then I get them that bid then deny it or do not pay, I bet Myrtle don't get many of them I would like to see some changes to our sales procedure which is being looked at as we speak
