personally i wouldnt pay for it... i wing stamp all mine also, and got one in stray basket this week, had the fancier bothered to phone i would have either collected the same day or arrange SPDS if it was two far away, i like to get them back asap... then there is a bit of hope getting them back to a race, as it turns out this pigeon struggled up to the landing board this morning probabaly due to wing stiffness due to sitting in a basket all week, so no chance getting him raced again this year, so thanks a bunch!!!

there not pigeon fanciers that do this and should be put out the game!

young bird sickness has been rife once again this year, the knock on effect is then lack of training... imo a lot of these youngsters are being put to the races not fully recovered!

Hi Colin best thing to do m8 is gets some pics up when the youngsters are at a decent age... once fanciers see the quaulity of your stock oozing through these youngsters and them reared to perfection they will fly out the door no problem, this i can vouch for!

from our first young bird race, stood and watched one take a dive at race birds three times as they crossed over... the youngsters scattered in every direction including dive bombing which i'm sure must incurr severe injuries, then easy prey! but what can we do...

most fanciers have had racing pigeons all there lives, we plod on regardless of all the negatives in the sport... imo there are 3 killers of the sport... 1. Birds of Prey 2. Politics 3. Control Freaks ... despite this we carry on for the love of our sport, rise above the negatives and thrive on the highs
