horrendous losses with young bird racing is world wide, not just OLR!

a real grinder today, 148 home a nightfall... this is what this OLR is all about, I was fortunate to get my Frans Zwols cock MR.ZWOLS home in 62nd position... the way I see it, he now only has 147 birds to beat for the big money...

if it helps pal, ill give you a pair of FRANS ZWOLS youngsters... they should make you the £100.00 difference all going well...

pigeons have had a hard fly in hot weather conditions, once they land its difficult getting them to move sometimes as they will be severely dehydrated... certainly not the organisers fault!

reims.. ancenis.. ypres.. roye lets stick too a programme instead of chopping n changing every year there is a bad race, it could benefit the pigeons long term more so at reims and ancenis when the majority of the convoy have probably been there before...

SNRPC decided to 'breakaway' and destroyed some Fed's in the process, let them stay on there own with there Sh!ty little convoy, they will in due course destroy themselves...

Janssen Bros probably the best in the world, let alone the UK! not many lofts in Europe that Janssen some where in them, most modern day families entering the UK will have a hint of Janssen in them somewhere...

have a facebook page which I find great for my hobbies, some handy info if you look in the right places... great for promoting charity work and fund raising, unfortunately some members use it for different reasons including posting there life stories... which can be a bit boring! so I keep my friends list selective and scroll past any nonsense...

well done Dave Baldie, yet another record breaking performance form this small back garden St.Andrews loft... good to see the pigeons doing the talking again!!

just to clear the air, Dave doesn't have the facilities to sell pigeons racing from his small back garden loft approx. 16'x6' plus a garden shed... as most fanciers know it is myself that sells racing pigeons, and more so this year having retired from racing in Dundee, this year being my last old bird season, and glad to say went out with a bang timing a couple of crackers with the SNFC... it is now with great pleasure I can watch Dave's doos race on a Saturday which are approx. 90% bred from my stock, so literally Dave is doing the flying whilst i concentrate on the breeding which to date has been a perfect combination... 'tittle tattle' will always roam when a winning loft is in red hot form, and yes I agree in such a wide spread federation conditions on the day will generally predict the winning loft location, but then again two swallows most definetly don't make a summer... but when the strike rate by this small st.andrews loft is considered over the last three year and in excess of 50 SNFC diplomas, 3 SNFC section winners, etc... I reckon the opposition have more than a touch of west in the wind to worry about!!! with one more fed open race to go plus the YB national, id like to wish each and all every success from these two races and hope we all get the prizes we deserve, regardless of wind, loft location or how many birds in a basket, as we all know when the chips are down in these prestigious events its only the cream that rises, may the best pigeons lead the field!!!
