I have seen peds and montages with grey gem on, and it does read he has won 41 x 1sts and 17 x 1sts feds..........wot a super pigeon........ a dream pigeon!! However, I spent a huge amount on CWLG pigeons a few years back....not direct...but from one of their friends.....the pigeons I had were useless! I was so disappointed maybe I got dud ones?.....just a honest opinion........

yes, the skin colour for a silver is different to a normal chick, also there is no yellow 'fluff' I can tell from the 1st day if the chick will be a silver, I noticed this last year.........first time I had bred from silvers, this is why pigeon racing is a great sport......you learn new things all the time

I purchased the Roland Janssens in 2006 from John Mellor. I went to John because he had better stock than Louella and they were a damn sight cheaper!! I first saw the Roland Janssens on a 'around antwerp' video. Rolands loft probably had a third white grizzles (yet this is the only colour louella sell) I also liked rolands methods. They are sprinters. There is no way one of my Roland Janssens could fly 600. (so asha does have a point, as blunt as he is) Flying in the US is totally different to here. On the whole they are lively pigeons, very tame, and a pleasant colour. I do have a 2007 Blue Ck with 3 firsts and many other prizes. he will add to this tally in 2009! This blue ck was bred from 2 grizzles. Just do your homework when buying new pigeons, super kweeker 11 & super kweeker 12 have 5 x 1sts each, which is good, but are their youngsters worth £500 each?? simple.....NO

I have an starview ck which won saintes (450) on the day.....with ease I put him at 520 the following year and I could tell it was too far for him. I have had many breeds over the years........and many have fell by the wayside! but my starviews are still here after 15 years and winning prizes
