It's always the same, greed over the fact that someone else might keep the club going. Can you not call a special open meeting or extra ordinary general meeting and resolve matters there, ask shu official to attend as observer.

Aye but the guys in this case seem to be making decisions about closing a club they have left and went to another, while not allowing others to join the club they are leaving and letting it remain open for others to use.
