What I can't understand is Mickey Mouse advertises something for sale on the site, all it says in his personal profile is his AKA(the real Mickey Mouse does not keep pigeons as far as I know ;D ) and the number of posts When you ask these Mickey Mouse sellers any details they get upset and start who are you to ask any questions, do you remember the hassle when the guy was selling tablets and he would only give you details once you sent the money but would not tell you where to send it....It was a farce Surely if you want to sell anything on the site then your personal info should at least contain your real name and what area you are from, a lot of these arguments are started because the Mickey Mouses trying to pull a fast one not because someone on the site made a genuine error, COULD YOU IMAGINE IF I SOLD ANY DODGY GEAR ON THE SITE. ;D ;D ;D Also a lot of members are peeved with the ones that only use the site to sell pigeons but if we if we stopped everything that peeved members :-/ Richard, anything can be hacked into and the fact that you share this file then there is third party access :-/ I post my details openly because I have nothing to hide and certainly nothing to fear despite some cowardly Mickey Mouse threats to my well being form associates from the site :-/

Les. I like your passion for what you propose but your planning and practical skills need worked on, you say only want people to invest their time and money in returning strays, which will be mostly during the yb season, some fly aways and injured birds, you will certainly get volunteers and helpful members to fill their time and you may get some with money to burn but you are hardly going to get a business up and running that will only last for the racing season :-/

Your right, why people want to hide their indentity baffles me, I just don't see why you have to PM it to a member on the site, there should be a part on the site where you post your details if you don't fill in all the relevent blanks then you don't get to join or at least join certain parts I am sure with the data protection act the website cannot pass any personal details onto other members anyway :-/

I am not saying all members personal information should be posted, there should be a part on the site to post it, if all sections are not filled in then you cannot sell on the site, not just sent in a PM to a member :-/

Not nit picking as you put it, as a member I am entitled surely to ask a question on the security of any personal information a member divulges, as far as I knew you were just an ordinary member who happens to be the webmasters girlfriend :-/

Surely under the data protection act this should be a facility on the site not a file kept by a member and disclosed at their discretion :-/

I thought you had to post all your details to Grizzle-hen before you could sell any pigeons, I have said for ages that in order to sell something you have naturally to post basic details so the transaction can be completed. How can you buy something if you do not have a name on the cheque for payment, an address the payment has to be sent to and a number you can contact if there is any problems Maybe on joining or remaining a member of the site you must post all these details to become or remain a member and if any problems arise on the site members details will be posted to parties concerned :-/

Lets hope so but they will not expand just to get the pigeon business they would need the other parts of the courier business as well Amtrak was a national parcel courier that supplimented their income by also transporting pigeons not the other way about, we need a national courier willing to take on the tranport licence to carry birds now that Amtrak has ceased :-/

I could not understand this either but it came from someone who deals with licences as I asked them for a list of couriers that can transport birds :-/

There is already a network of fanciers that do this to the best of their ability but it will never be able to cover all the country. You need a hub that can network all the deliveries to be carried out in one day from north/south/east/west the day you go over that time scale you are looking at maybe feeding and watering birds, holding lofts, health certificates and maybe even quarantine times and maybe much more :-/

Should there not be a facility on the site to post all your personal details rather than PM'ing them to a member :-/
