Wullie you will know the pairs that are leaving your yearlings .If after 2 seasons at club level and there is nothing left (for us they would be disposed off ) Distance Pigeons are a different kettle of Fish and shoud be allowed that little bit longer.( 3-4 years)

Tony what % of good pigeons do you think you have in your Loft .Take time and review the contents of your breeding books and the pigeons you have purchased.Over a 2 year period how many are left and you will find the answer to the 98% Rule. Keep clear of aged stock birds that guys are off-loading and if they were any good they would not be for sale.

You should try it ,but without a licence and the State you got into in the past and yer Doos flying like Coos nae wonder yae canny attend meetings.

The cocks are only in the aviary (which is raised and gridded out and covered with Astra-Turf about 1 foot from the Deck) during the day and roost in the loft during the night.On checking last night the 2 cocks in question are on the top perches and are in direct air -flow.I have taken it up with De-weerd and it looks as if it the problem is as i first suspected Ornithosis which i am now treating for with Ornispecial Extra for four consecutive days and see if it clears up.Thanks to all for your interesting responses and i will let you know the outcome. ;)To King Billy Clamidia can only be caught by trips to the market. in foriegn countries

I have a couple of Cocks in the Loft with 1 Wet Eyelid.Could it be Ornithosis Complex with the cocks being kept in the aviary during the winter months which i am being told with the cold Air Streams may be causing the problem.Would you close down the aviary and what would you treat them with. :-/

I agree with your comments but there are a lot of East Routes pigeons that would never turn and face the Prevailing West winds.

With your assistance as discussed earlier in the year we should manage to come up with something different. ;)Your role will be the official photgrapher and bringing good tideings from the West.I will do the East and if we can get somebody to do the Centre it would help.
