when taking into consideration the route the birds take today an Easterly race point gives us in the West a fairer measurement.

My young birds were trained and flew the West route last year they still came out the East. :emoticon-0138-thinking:

There were 15 pigeons timmed in section G before a pigeon was timmed in section E at Last years YBN Allan.The results are there for all to see.The West has no chance what so ever against the East at this race mate.

Spot on Stuart it's purely down to location when it comes to the ybn.As you say it was won few years back in the Eyemouth area and the bird had only been trained out to 30 miles.think Billy Bilsland proved that for all to see last year so IMO its proven location is king
