The best pigeons that i have owned flew the ybn, you can loose good pigeons at this race as you can any race.But do like them out it.

Think these are important races to those who value them Frank,i for one enjoy the ybn and will be hopeing to be sending, have not missed this race since i starting racing.

Aye racing pigeons will quickly turn you into Victor Meldrew or the Rev i am jolly.

In my short time competing in National racing in Scotland this seems, apart from the odd exception the norm.Many top quality pigeons that have scored several times at this distance are lost just as they can be lost at the shorter distances.I don't believe that this is a new phenomena as in years gone by there was also only 1 bird on the day from these distance type National races on occasion.Onwards and Upwards as they say.Good luck too all that have sent to this race.

Personally i would like The Netherlands to win but i think it will be Spain 2-1.
