i've yet to know a vet to do a sensetivity test after initiai consultation why would they when its easier 4 them dispense a broad spectrum they would do this after and if the 1st treatment does not cure the problem. owen said himself his chest infection was treated byy use of amoxicillin. this was given to me for achest infection as well a standard treatmentand was only given a sensitivity test after this faied to cure the prob

we use it every racing season i think its good stuff the feathering on our birds is always good but wether it benefits there health & performance is debatable!

I would just like to say that this thread has been excellent and brought to light some interesting information however finding a vet who has an avian background are very few on the ground. the use and advice of layman are being relied on more & more not just because of the lack of vets but the high cost of treatment. 1 question I would like to ask is should we vac. stock birds and how many fanciers do?
