You got any of the dancer and prancer lines i hear they are the best lines to get.The red nose ones where added to the team for real hard conditions i heard. Also heard a rumour they fly in the dark wich would allways be good for a channel race.
So the cock gives the colour of the bar is that right? plus a normal colour gene? so if i had a barless cock the young will be barless as well is this correct.Lol one thing at a time please i'm a bit slow in biological science.
paired mine two days ago.Ive only got 8 pair of birds all stock ,so i need two rounds to start founding a loft. Also its my first year at breeding so i am expecting a few losse's.Still like a little kid at christmas though:)
Ahh thanks Bill. Its not what i'm after then thanks again guy's
And i'm still after a free loft manager if anyone knows of a good one.
I may just have to pay for one after christmas.
Roland where can i get the winbird loft manager it seems its not on the site(well i cant see it anyway ).Ive downloaded winbird and updated it but its not a loft management programme its for clubs feds and the like.
Its probably really simple and looking me in the face as usual.
Ronnie
Dunno about the birds mate cos ive just bought a lot of stock.but may be interested in an intensive driving course:) anychance you could pm me or shall i just ring the number on the site?
Anyone know of some free loft management software.Free as in full programme for nothing not a trial.
Anything will do to keep records of my pairings and race results.
Thanks
Ronnie
How would you race widowhoods in this kind of loft , i've allways been led to believe that the cocks are not meant to see the hens until basketing time.
I'm still new to the sport but i do like the idea of racing to an aviary instead of a loft.
ok so ive just paired a red cock with a check pied hen. What can i get from this pairing?Only asking because they seem to be the only pair ive got that look pleased to be together.
Thanks guy's .I was at there auction today and i got 5 birds at 30 quid each i felt sorry for the auctioneer as there just wasnt the people there but there loss was my gain as they say.
Has anyone got any of these guys birds if so how good are they?
Ive just bought a couple of pair they look and handle real good just curious about how good they are in general.
I had the same problem birdman and tried one of them magnetic bracelets after two or three days i started to notice the pain easing.I thought it was a load of old tripe till i tried it.
For the sake of a couple of quid it may be worth a go for ya.
Thanks Andy
I am thinking of waiting till i pair them and letting them out with the young birds or keeping say the hens in there boxe's and hoping the cocks come back to them.
i really am undecided at the moment.I am erring on the side of caution as these are the only birds i have and hopefully will be the future of my loft.
