Well they motored home, can only go on my time but doing 1877, the birds are in great condition
  13. Widowhood is the simplest form of flying period. You can also keep your numbers small. And require very little scraping as all droppings are in the box, little to no mess on the floors. If I was in your situation I would have two cocks paired to the one hen to reduce the numbers even further. If your shed is set up for roundabout a slight adjustment can be made which would if you have the right pigeons help you to be successful in sprints.
  14. Kirky they wouldn't be to late to be raced. I topped the federation last season with a young bird hatched on the 1st a June to be fair it didn't race the whole programme but it had the last 4 races of the season. Greenland the team look well and wish you the best of luck with them.

    Young Birds

Pigeon hut, not meaning to be funny but if your at the training stage with young birds don't you feel adding any more to your team will hold them back?
  16. I will update when I get my hands on a copy.
  17. Jam fed only goes to the first, same as the club, the LNRC go to two decimals.
  18. One gives the other 20 yards. But there sheds back onto each others separated by fence. And so I've been told was a dead heat to the first decimal, the fed only goes to first decimal
  19. Best advice I ever received was do your own thing
  20. My source was wrong there wasn't a dead heat situation here is the fed result
  21. First four, will be updated later this evening with full result 1st M. Connolly & Son Vel 1578, with a previous federation winner dark Chequer hen 2nd A. Gadsdon & Son Vel 1570, with a Blue Yearling Frank Tasker Stock 3rd A. Gadsdon & Son Vel 1568, with a White Grizzle Cock, of Curtis Wall and Lunt X Direct Roland Janssen 4th M. Connolly & Son Vel 1567, with a blue cock that was 8th Open Witton Castle last year.
  22. Yes mate expecting most of east London will be there as now parking permits all at Stratford
  23. Tonight lads called the widowers down, and in like a flash a young bird banged through the doors with them. Picked it up expecting it to be one of our own checking the ring number it was a K ring and still squeaking. Thought must be local so gave the chap a call when he told me he was from Stafford my jaw nearly dropped, the poor chap nearly had a heart attack when I told him we was from London some 150 odd miles away. He lost the young bird last night. A very game young bird.
  24. Were not nominating for the Jubilee Tony, it's based on two bird nomination average am I right?
