  1. Benitez short term bookies favourite
  2. No theories dal, just personal preference. Tail up in the air, tail down, tail balenced the result behind the bird is more important, I have personal preferences but they win all shapes and sizes. If anything I like consistancy in young birds. What are your preferences and thoughts on tail in the air?
  3. Lol Grunting is typical in one line in my family of birds. I prefere medium sized birds but some of my best are on the large side. I personally like my pigeons in the hand to feel like the perfect pear, but I find the most important factor I like to see is a tight vent and tail flight 'being' as one feather.
  4. Dal, Could you please explain further as what you can learn about a you g bird just by handling them?
  5. Bert braspenning done something similar I think I remember reading once
  6. I'm in the room next door to you Archie LOL
  7. Bern what's your preference of allowing the widowers to sit twice? What difference have you noticed?
  8. Sharyn, Tony C lives in Dagenham Essex, However I race in East London in Beckton, but live in Dagenham in a Flat of Marstons road, near morrisons if I can be of any help. Did they inform you of the name of who the bird belonged to?
  9. In my opinion 6 pairs, but I would have an aviary on the front much like a red Rose starter loft, but for non flying stock
  10. Bern, I have photos of it but I no longer have a laptop any more as I do everything from my phone. Unfortunately you cannot attach photos for some reason on basics from your phone. The only way I could get a photo if someone visited the lofts and had access to a pc or laptop. However I got the idea when reading an article of sprint champion Keith Arnold, mine would be exactly the same as his apart from we race to an open door and not a sputnik.
  11. Unfortunately I haven't Mate
  12. Keep in mind Scott I cannot promise anything as of yet, as I'll need to take our own requirements first.

  14. Scott I Cannot promise anything, but if my breeding season goes well, get in touch in April, and I will give you a few young birds, however you would have to pay the carriage from London. But as I said it's entirely down too, taking my own young first.

    Have you tried high flyers?
  16. Similar to ours but we use polycarbonate as it retains heat better, but we pay a lot of attention to temperature and humidity of the lofts at all times.
  17. Yes Bern, they only go out twice a week, until the old bird season starts to come to a close. The Ghost was shocked when we told him also for his articles.
  18. Bern to be fair, our young birds only go out during the weekends for the majority of the year, Untill the young bird season starts to approach, due to our time restraints.
  19. We use as much light as possible, anyone that has seen our lofts are shocked by the front of the loft.
  20. See them on Facebook regular

    Bargain

We use Gem all year round, we cannot say anything bad about the quality we find it one of the best on the Market. The price is handy too.
  22. Be interesting to read your progress to the build up to the race, and hopefully you bag the pot
