i treated for canker straight after racing,and it doesnt seem to have affected my birds moult as theres feathers whizzing passed my ear as i walk into the sheds now

I agree and disagree with this post,ive done it and a good majority of birds make it home in about 3 days but your always some missing,and i neva would do it again,Ive also heard fanciers saying this to other fanciers regarding young birds saying take them 40 miles for the first toss,but the person in questions son told me that they start theres off at 5miles and work there way up to 40 miles, so in some cases there just telling ya to do that to get the numbers lower,only my opinion,considering that his son told me one thing but i heard his father saying another :-/ :-/

i think alot of federations could also merge,ive suggested it to my dad for a couple of years that the east london fed should merge with the london north road,also a lot of clubs should as the sport is slowly dieing,however some of my mates are actually getting interested in the sport and one of there parents has actually bought them a loft,i will breed him quiet a few pigeon and hopefully when we get him into a club his club members will,so thats another 17 yr old in the sport but its just not enough to keep the sport running,and considering the prices of everything it will be hard for youn ppl to come into the sport unless they have family backing,or have a job aswell as going college
