    FIRST TOSS

ur lucky up there the wind is north westly, first toss 40 miles in east wind could have ruined your season before it had even started

  16. good idea but wont cotton on london is a place where the sport is dieing fast mate!
  17. ive added another yb loft 6x4 just to keep 12 young cocks in, ive made it in the shape of the loft that linda from red rose lofts made and has been published in the RP about. I purchased the shed and just done the bare neccessitys to make it look upto scratch. The photos are the young birds enjoying the bath in the landing board/aviary

  22. personnally for birds to do this distance i would train them harder, it has been done, some people do it, but alot of ppl lose them, i once took liberty of a pigeon, was raced and lost as a young bird came back the following old bird season towards a stonehaven race, chucked it straight in lo and behold who was my first bird and hi up in the combine, you guessed it that didnt have no tosses just raced as yb
  23. think the people your racing against would also love you doing this, pigeons will feel so safe wont leave the crate :-/ :-/ :-/ ;D ;D ;D :-/ :-/
  24. personally i dont havent done for atleast 5 years now, i have the belief pigeons can smell the water, seen it many times before, and heard many times before about basket training, never has done my pigeons any harm

    BLOODY WEATHER!

had first training toss was happy, i hate first training tosses your life is on tender hooks, 2 missing one cock one hen but still bright and early shouldnt have took them really with the east winds and open races about today but im restricted for time, the cock missing is a winner and right nice handler be a shame for him to go down.
