Think i should go there myself for 26 days . At least she is safe , i will keep you posted with her future . Willow

Advice , if you are thinking of joining a dating site ,i wouldn't put interests as Pigeon's , it won't get you all very far ...............so wife's if you are hoping to get rid of your men i hope they are more interested in paying the real birds attention rather than there featherd friends ..... listening to the forum on here it doesn't look like it , so your stuck with them .........

Oh well it didn't upload , your doves on your house look lovely , think i would like that on the end of my house and keep a few doves , they are beautiful chickadee, and the lofts are great also , well done to Duncan for building them . Willow

Not been fishing this weekend , fishing's not good just now on The Earn , So im versatile stb , do you fish or can't you not multi task being a man ! I have a wide variety of interests not just pigeon's to keep me busy . Where in the west of Scotland are you ? I love going over to Arran as i paint and the scenery is terrific there .

News , still no bird home . but i have liberated 2 birds myself handled them and tossed them so im very pleased . I will train a new baby bird for next year and hopefully she will be more used to flying and then make the race and come home . Progress at my end ,i will email my cousin Joe to tell him my good news ,So guy's i will struggle on learning from the best and with encouragement from clockman ,thank you and Joe ,who knows i might make a pigeon woman yet !

The baby bird will be 1 year on Sunday , nope not back yet .She had a race the other week in Belgium and came home that night , but she is still missing .
-
Paul, why has it taken you 9 years to race again ?, i hope the weather is on your side and your birds make a good result for you and the next 9 years ahead also Willow
-
Well if your desperate to get him let me know and i will see what i can do to accomodate you ,we can all go to a united game and talk pigeon's !
-
He's not rambrant ..... but i do know what he is into !

I do fish , i fish with the Scottish fly fishing coach, who is also a Scottish champion fisher ! I never do anything by half stb...When i want to learn a new sport ,i learn from the best ....so i fish with the best , clay pigeon shoot with the best , and thought i would try live pigeon's , with the best of course !.......So iv'e coverd them all with the best i know .Pigeon's though is something that you have no control over as when you let them out ,its with the god's if they come back , no matter how good they are it seem's .I have had some encouragement from a few good pigeon men , so i am thanking them ,but i don't think my phobia is cured quite yet , so who know's , if she comes back i will wait and see .

An update ,no willow still , i have now given up any hope of her return .......But i did help take down a pigeon loft of 24feet yesterday ,today think i will give up pigeon's altogether knackerd from the lifting ,should i stick to fishing ....mmmmm it's a lot easier ! less bickering and more enjoyable and something to eat at the end of it .
-
What are you looking for the auction ?
-
well redrocket ,don't think that would go down with ma baby ,you pigeon men should celebrate getting your pigeons back with a big party ,but seen that all you all do is bicker like old women ,i don't think that would be possible ...however being a novice to the sport i have an open mind in this world of men ! and make exceptions for you all ..........
-
what do you think with a special bird cake ....mmmmmm its a thought .if she gets home ,my friend is hopeful she will , but now it's my fault i put her to the race in the first place ! can't win clockman .
-
Still no bird , has there been a lot of birds not home ? Hopefully she will return for her birthday next sunday .

Surely distances has everything to do with it stb , thats what racing is all about . all i am saying is why in the same race do some birds have to fly further to win the same race .Its the only sport where i know that this happens .Does every other sport do this , does a swimmer or runner have to go further then the next to win a race ? Sometimes there is a young race and an older age race making a bit of difference , But in pigeon racing its a bit confussing to a novice when my bird a yb had to fly much further than the bird in the borders ,but if she only had to fly to the borders she maybe would have a better chance of winning ....in my opinion .
-
Hello , my bird at the race was a yb she has not come back yet , i am a novice but what i can't quite get my head around is this . all birds have a chance to win a race i think as it is the breed in them to get home and with training them they pick out landmarks to achieve this , correct me if i am wrong here .What i fail to grasp is this , if it is a race with all birds having a fair chance to win why is it that some birds young or old have to fly much further than others to win that same race ? So the further they have to fly surely the better the bird has to be ? For instance my bird had to fly a lot further to Dundee than a bird say in the borders ,so the borders bird may have a better chance as the weather may change the further north the bird has to travel to get home ,slowing it down with more miles yet to fly .So if its a young bird or an old bird its chances are still not as good in my opinion to get back further away than a bird closer as they have to fly many more miles .Why is the race not the same miles for all the birds given them all the same flying miles and a better chance of winning . ? Well done to all who got a pigeon back , my baby willow is still not here , but there are a lot of experienced pigeons i hear are also not back , so i live in hope of her return .I had my first liberation tonight as i let out 4 young birds near my house out so i was very brave considering ive never touch a bird yet .Glad it was only 4 and not a basket full flapping about in my car . What i have to endure to show enthusiasm ,at least they got home ok so that was a bonus .Again congrates to all birds back . Willow

Vanreetsi will ask mu friend and get back to you on it ,if he can help you ok .
