  1. Great season George, well done. Ayrshire North Road Federation had their last YB race on Sunday past, so our season is over and 2016 starts.
  2. Happy birthday.
  3. Good morning all.
  4. Thanks for the plaudits. I'm sure this one will be a good night as well. Look forward to meeting you Jamie. I have probably spoken with you previously when I was giving out the fish suppers or collecting the rubbish, but would enjoy a better chance for a chinwag.
  5. Well done Ally. Keep him right, just as you were well advised.
  6. Took the two older kids to it this year. Very enjoyable. I went to my first one around 50 years ago and have been to a few over the years. The emphasis has changed from military to dance and to youth. Promoting the future and the diversity of the nations, since years ago it was primarily a military tattoo, now more of a show. The massed bands were the highlight for me this year, although the whole event was enjoyable.
  7. They are down in the south west around Stranraer area.
  8. Good morning all.
  9. A new Club is starting up to race North. They need all Club equipment and paraphernalia. If you are in any way able to donate equipment to them it will be gratefully accepted. PM myself in the first instance and I will put you in touch with the founders.
  10. EARLY NOTICE The Federation Quiz night is scheduled to take place on Friday 27th November within Drongan Community Centre. Tickets will cost £10-00. The format will be similar to previous years, fish supper for the purvey. The Quiz Panel will be Mark Bulled, a top International fancier; Nigel Laycock, a well known supporter of the Federation and A N Other. The compere will be S McGarry, New Kid on the Block. A blockbuster of an evening where some snippets of knowledge are sure to be gleaned and of course an opportunity to purchase YB's donated by the Panelist and others to help Federation funds. A night NOT to be missed. More information will follow and tickets will be available soon. Pre-orders will be accepted with payment.
