  8. Good morning all.
  9. Happy birthday.
  10. Good morning all.
  11. Yes Davie, I registered my French rung ones with the SHU as well. What I meant was some UK Unions are now compiling a list of other UK Union rung pigeons raced and owned by their members.
  12. I verify SHU, RPRA, NEHU and NWHU with the relevant Union. I have not required to verify any others. I believe some of the other Unions, not SHU, are forming a list of other Union rings on their databases now, so you may be asked to register them with your particular Union.
  13. Happy birthday.
  14. Good morning all.
  15. Valley North Prize Presentation and Race Night on Saturday 26th November in Hurlford Bowling Club at 18.30. Fundraising for Club and to help keep members' costs down. Your support is appreciated, so please come along. There will be a raffle on the night, prize donations are most welcome. Bring your friends and family and join us to ensure a super night.
  16. Well done to Andy, Jamie and partner.
  17. Good morning all.
  18. Happy birthday.
  19. I would hardly think it needs mentioning, but a public pat on the back to our organising team, Janice Mcdougall, Sandy Mcdougall and Sanny Owens for all their hard work prior to and on the day of our show.
  20. Good morning all.
  21. Happy birthday.
  22. I stopped feeding them a while back for that very reason. Scatter under the hedgerows is about the best you could do because it is dense enough for them to hide in.
  23. Woodpecker, ring neck doves and wood pigeons in the woods in my neighbours garden. The doves sometimes come into mine. There are of course the sparrowhawks as well.
  24. Around 4 robins in the garden, wrens, blackbirds, thrushes mistle I think, chaffinches, blue tits, greenfinches? and of course the usual magpies and jackdaws. Occasionally the odd pheasant comes in as well.
  25. On behalf of the members of Ayrshire North Road Fed, I would like to thank our judges for coming along and judging our entry. Derek Hay, Jim Tullan, Evan Jones and Andra McBurnie judged our classes. Derek was accompanied by his son and Jim Tullan who had damaged his wrist had brought a friend to cover his handling class, sorry Hugh, but I forget your surname. There was a good atmosphere at the show and Sanny Owens' baking went down a treat. The pies and sausage rolls didn't last long either. This event helped to bring the members back together after the racing's end at August and we would like to thank the fanciers from further afield for coming along to support our show. The Ayrshire fanciers enjoyed your company. Our next event will be our Prize-Giving Disco during February and we look forward to this social which will bring us together just before the commencement of racing for 2017. A few fanciers had a very good show taking several places and I will post up the full result when I receive it.
