Don't know if it is SHU or RPRA, Club or Fed, but the boundary can be opened to include the member and closed again to prevent any non members from joining. I cannot remember where I heard this, but it would be easy enough to check with the RPRA once the office is open during January.

Mine does the same, so I never got her anything and she reacted the exact same way, so don't see the point in treating them to gadgets. Your wife probably enjoys scrubbing the driveway on her hands and knees with a bucket and scrubbing brush. Is it worth trying to modernise them? :D

I agree with this, but he asked about a combined Life Ring and tracking ETS ring. I pointed out some use rubbers so wouldn't be happy about the cost for the combination. Another point is, although rare, ETS rings fail at times. If they were combined with the Life Ring, you would then need to fit a ring like you talk of, so I expect the separates we have at the moment would be best unless the cost could be brought closer to the current 34p.
