Yes been doing it most of the night

No everything i have is out i lost 5 which i havent seen since yesterday but the other 9 are on the roof , just been out to see and there still there all huddled together Well 9 of them

I have a big Carp landing net which i was going to try and catch them with but they refuse to land on the loft, will just try again in the morning.

LOL tried that all day not intrested in the food , and when they have started to come they get to the loft and instead of landing they hover then bank off back to the roof. Will try them again tommorrow

Yesterday (sat) when i went into my loft there was a cat in there, which had got through the trap, as i opened the door the cat ran out and so did all my birds, they have refused to go back in since and wont even land on the loft roof, they have been on the neighbours roof since yesterday, spending all day and night on the roof and by the looks of it tonight as well, what can i do ???? Surley the birds must be hungry, Any helpfull advice, for the birds, Daryl

Ok further to the last post i went to my loft last night and there was a cat in there which must have got in through the trap as i opened the door out came a cat followed by all my birds. All the birds have been sat on the roof since yesterday and refuse to come in.( dont blame them) The other stock bird that i bought last week has now escaped the details are below Ring Number: SU98L19056 Ring Number: SU98L19051

I bought a pair of pigeons as part of a charity auction last week and went into the loft today and one of the birds has gone, (god knows how) The ring number is SU98L19056 and it escaped from Bramley Leeds, West Yorkshire would be greatfull if anyone gets it in to contact me

After speaking with Mick we have decided that anyone who uses Pigeon Force to send or collect birds connected with this auction will only be charged £32.50 for up to 6 Adult/Young Birds. over 6 we will only charge £1 per extra bird 50p of This will also be donated We will also be donating £5 per order recieved As we use SPDS for Scotland we are going to contact them and see if they will do a deal on there pricing. We are in a similar position the prices of boxes are like the prices of couriers lol We got 150 free from crowthers as it advertises their company, squeeker boxes are few and far between! We are paying on average 45p for singles £1 for squeekers if you find a bargain let us know lol cheers daryl Pigeon Force

I dont need to advertise my business ive got a good client base already , with all the feed back i get on here i can improve my service, its trial and error, im a pigeon fancier myself, so the birds welfare is paramount, i treat customers birds how i would expect my own birds to be treated.

Thanks for that thats the support we need, as a pigeon fancier i know how hard it is on both sides

No i dont need to be quicker, think you will find that my service is good enough with many picked up and dropped off same day, do other couriers offer this, not going round in circles with you, if they want to use others thats fine but all will be asked if they have booked it in with others before we take the job, you learn by mistakes.

Because i was going out of my way to pick it up for the customer to elp him out as he had been let down before by others.

Yes last customer said he had booked with 3 this week for same bird and it got picked up yesterday, i phoned tonight to tell him i was coming in the morning, when he told me , some other courier will still be going to pick it up yet.

I went into my loft tonight and they were dead snails and slugs in the loft mine eating them Partner doing the same is this normal?????

Two more Jobs today that were double booked with various couriers, nearly cost me 200 miles round trip, Fanciers need to stop double booking as it will only make the service harder in the long run. Customers help couriers to help customers

Ill offer the delivery of the birds if you want mick and for every one we will donate, to this great cause, my Grandad died from lung cancer and he was a pigeon fancier, he would be proud of this auction and our offer. Will speak to you tommorrow when we meet. Daryl
