  12. I have an 2006 Koopman Janssen cock available, i missed this bird when i picked up the Blackpool pigeons, in my mind he is ideal shape and has a very strong yellow/red eye, which is great to pair to the normal pearl. His price at Blackpool would have been £200, put he is available now at £100. Sire Rappe 07, top class racer with 3 top 20 postions against 10,000 plus birds plus he has bred 2nd NPO 28,000plus birds. He is a son of the sterduiven from Koopman who id g-dam of 2 x 1st NPO in 2007 for Alwin Petrie. Dam from Jan Karstens, 100% Janssen she is dam of 2nd National Blois 2007 and is down from the old Merckxs line of Janssen. Really nice cock. Stuart

My friend Nigel Templer has the best cock in the UK De Bult, there pretty good but not miracle pigeons ;D
  15. These are taken to the first 2 that sent me PM's Just out of interest i recieved over 60 pms for these. Stuart.
  16. I have a very good opportunity for the right fancier. A very good friend of mine in the South East who over the years has invested a lot of money in top class long distance stock finds himself with 4 pairs of racers to many. These 4 pairs from 2000/2001/2002 have all flown the distance, Pau, Tarbes, Barcelona with the NFC and BICC. My friend tells me that unfortunately bird flu has denied these birds the chance to really shine. My friend would like to offer these pigeons free to any fancier who is in need of them but stressed that they need to go to a good home. Don’t ask the strain, I already done that and he replied good distance pigeons. This flyer was 3rd Nat in 2007 PM me and I will put you touch with him. Please no time wasters. Stuart Wilcox
  17. yes your probaly right there Vic.
  18. Vic wasnt that why pigeon from belguim were first brought into the Uk because all traditional uk families were longer distance breed. I here those first sprint pigeons done some real damage!!! Remember an old telling me how he had just got some foriegn birds and his own couldnt keep up with off training, they were Busschearts. Stuart
  19. Just to add between rounds 2 and 3 split them for 2 or 3 weeks and let them back together, they will be keener, i also treat for canker for 5 days during this time. Stuart
  20. 4 rounds from my breeders max a year, 3 if the hens a bit older. Stuart
  21. They always seemed to be bad hatters, but since ive done this breeding has been 75% better of returns of young in the first round.
  22. Sorry Paulo i ment the fancy mixtures you know plus this and plus that ;D
  23. Paulo I tend to pair my birds up for a couple of days every weekend for a month, at first its war but they soon settle down and when i decide to leave em together they go down sweet as a nut. Stuart
  24. Good quality beans are great for ybs, they hold lots of water to so the birds really grow up strong. Just look at there dropping, round as a berry. Rear em on these plus mixtures are there dropping are all over the place.
  25. Strains such as Fears/Spangle/logan etc still do very well from the distance, remember Brian Sheppards Legend was 50% Spangle as was his brother who was 2nd Int the year after. Has the UK ever had its own strain that was for shorter distances only? maybe not.
